• Working with volunteers aged 50+.
  • Delivering a wide range of activities to benefit the local communities.
  • Activities are based on volunteers’ skills and interests, or local needs.

Our RSVP projects in Blaenau Gwent and Flintshire are funded by WCVA’s Volunteering In Wales grant and aims to create sustainable volunteering opportunities for people aged 50+ in the identified areas.

The activities will provide volunteers with the chance to remain socially included and offer rewarding opportunities that make a real difference to the identified areas.

Examples currently running include:

  • A luncheon club
  • Knit & Natter and other craft groups
  • Assisting older people with befriending, shopping and prescription collection
  • Social morning including games and crafts.

There is a wide scope for possible further activities, limited only by the skills, experience and ideas of our local volunteers.
