We are a national volunteering organisation with nearly 60 years of frontline experience, working alongside communities to create meaningful and lasting change. Our programmes are designed to be inclusive and accessible, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to take part and shape their future.

Our work is rooted in local communities, building on the knowledge, strengths and passions that already exist. By combining this with our expertise and resources, we create opportunities for people to connect, contribute and lead change where it matters most.

There are many ways to support us, from donating and fundraising to partnering with us. However you choose to get involved, you will be helping to build stronger, more connected communities across the UK.

We work with those ready and willing to get involved in making meaningful change – individuals and community groups as well as local government, health, crime prevention and education sectors and many other voluntary organisations. We also partner with businesses, Trusts and Foundations and individual donors.

By sharing insights from volunteering projects and trial programmes between communities with similar issues, we are constantly learning and improving. We also keep our partners up to date with new data and perspectives that can help with making more informed decisions.
