Support older people in Blaenau Gwent to stay connected, active and engaged through fun, social activities. As a Games/Quiz Group Volunteer, you will help create welcoming sessions that bring people together and reduce isolation.

In this role, you will support and oversee games and quiz sessions for older people in the community. You will help plan and deliver simple, enjoyable activities that encourage participation, conversation and connection.

You will play a key role in creating a friendly and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable to join in. This may include setting up sessions, leading quizzes or games, and adapting activities to suit different abilities and interests.

While you will work independently during sessions, you will have ongoing support from a staff member. By giving your time, you will help build confidence, reduce loneliness and create meaningful social opportunities for older people in Blaenau Gwent.
