Support volunteers and local primary schools by recruiting, coordinating and championing older classroom volunteers, helping children build confidence, develop skills and thrive through positive relationships.

Support our team of classroom volunteers by acting as the link between volunteers and local primary schools. You’ll recruit new volunteers, help them settle into their roles and build positive relationships with schools across the district.

Our volunteers support children with reading, classroom activities and small group learning, helping to build confidence, develop social skills and encourage a love of learning.

This is a flexible role that fits around your availability. You’ll meet with volunteers and school staff as needed, and if you’d like to, you can also volunteer in the classroom yourself.
