Volunteer with the Audiology team through the Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP) and make a practical difference in your local hospital. Based within NHS Forth Valley services, you will support patients, staff and visitors while developing hands-on skills in a supportive environment.

In this role, you will help maintain hearing aids by replacing tubing and offer basic support and guidance to hearing aid users. It is a great opportunity if you enjoy working with people and want to build confidence in a healthcare setting.

You do not need any previous experience or to be a hearing aid user. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, so you feel confident in your role from the start.

  • Maintain hearing aids
  • Offer support and advice to hearing aid users
  • Work alongside an experienced volunteer
  • To become a member of the PVG scheme (Protection of Vulnerable groups)
