Sophie Colella is a senior culture specialist with experience across a range of UK public sector organisations including the Housing Ombudsman Service, the Criminal Case Review Commission, the Department for Education and the Cabinet Office. Her work focuses on helping organisations create healthy, inclusive cultures where people can do their best work.


She specialises in organisational culture, equality and inclusion, and the use of workforce insight to support leadership decision making. Throughout her career Sophie has worked closely with senior leaders and boards to translate employee feedback and workforce data into practical changes that strengthen organisational culture, leadership accountability and employee wellbeing.


Sophie is passionate about the role volunteering can play in supporting local communities and helping individuals on their journey towards employment. She believes volunteering can provide people with a sense of purpose, direction and confidence, while also helping people build the skills and experience that open up future opportunities. As a disabled and neurodivergent person, Sophie is particularly interested in ensuring volunteering opportunities are welcoming and accessible to everyone, regardless of background or circumstance.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys collecting Pokémon cards, watching anime and spending time with her two cats, Hannibal and Shelly.
