Katie joined Volunteering Matters as a Trustee in January 2023. She is a Director-General for Buildings, Fire and Resilience in the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. Katie has previously worked in the Department of Work and Pensions, Department for Health and Social Care, the Cabinet Office, and the Department for Education. She has previously been a trustee for Refuge, a domestic abuse charity.
