Young people, the Government is taking orders—what’s yours? #DeliverYou is a youth-led campaign shaping the National Youth Strategy. Aged 10-21 (25 SEND)? Have your say!

Today (5 March 2025), we are excited to share our brand-new youth-led campaign Deliver You. This national campaign is an ambitious, once in a generation, opportunity for young people to share their views, experiences, and ideas – and to tell the Government what really matters to them!  At the #iWill movement, which Volunteering Matters are delivery partners for, we are proud to be partnering on this campaign- and would love you to be part of.

Following the announcement of the new National Youth Strategy by Secretary of State Lisa Nandy, we’ve been busy helping the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to develop this exciting and engaging campaign to ensure young people can directly inform the Strategy. The 10-year strategy aims to tackle the challenges young people experience and ensure that every young person can thrive. The National Youth Strategy aims to bring power back to young people and their communities and improve youth focused services, moving away from a one-size-fits-all approach from Government.

Inspired by online food delivery services, the Deliver You campaign focuses on encouraging young people aged 10-21 (25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)  to ‘Place their Order’ to the Government about youth services! Young people will also have the chance to take part in one of 6 regional in-person events during April, to start to shape the solutions.

In collaboration with DCMS, the Deliver You campaign is powered by the #iWill Movement, My Life My Say and Savanta – a partnership driven by a commitment to equipping and enabling young people to shape and lead change.

We’d love your help in encouraging and supporting thousands of young people to shape this once in a generation strategy.
