In 2023, the project powered 134 environmental projects with the help of 4,132 volunteers, including 1,835 young people under the age of 26!

If you’re interested, any group of volunteers in urban areas are eligible to apply for Volunteering Matters Action Earth nature grants of between £50 and £250 to run environmental activities in Scotland’s green spaces.

Thanks to NatureScot for funding this project and supporting volunteers of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities in practical outdoor activities in Scotland’s cities, towns, and villages.
