Today we launch our new five-year strategy, a bold and collaborative vision shaped by staff, volunteers, partners and communities. It sets out the changes we want to see across loneliness, wellbeing, inclusion, community power and social connection. Rooted in social justice and powered by volunteers, this strategy will guide how we work, grow and lead change together. This is just the beginning.

Essex Knitters and Stitchers

We are a vibrant community of crafters in Essex, dedicated to fostering connection, supporting local causes, and combatting loneliness through our shared love of knitting, crocheting, and sewing. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting, we warmly welcome you to join us!

Volunteer Knitter (Exmouth)

For individuals 50+, this is a knitting group in Exmouth creating items for local, national and international charities.

Walking Group Member (Liskeard)

For anyone 50+, a walking group for anyone who likes getting out and about in the Cornish landscape (although we sometimes stray into Devon).

Activity Support (Brighton)

Become a Activity Support volunteer and help volunteers and staff run sessions, supporting those that attend and making them feel welcome and encouraging them to participate in the activity.

Volunteers are needed to oversee and support games/quiz sessions aimed at older people in Blaenau Gwent.
