For over twenty years, Volunteering Matters has been an integral part of the Suffolk community, helping to address a range of local issues. We work hand-in-hand with volunteers across Suffolk to make a tangible difference, both through immediate actions and fostering long-term change.

Our projects focus on social action and mentoring, offering support to people throughout the county. Through collaborations with local partners, we also helped Ipswich become the UK’s first “Town of Youth Social Action,” as part of the national #iwill movement.

Volunteering has changed my view on life. It’s all interconnected. It has expanded my way of thinking and introduced me to so many inspiring people with a shared goal of change.
