We are delighted to announce that our Grandmentors team won the Leaving Care Award at The National Children and Young People’s Awards. Hosted by Care Talk Magazine at the ICC in Birmingham, the awards took place on 6 October 2022.
Grandmentors is a volunteering programme which provides young people, especially those leaving the care system, the opportunity to achieve their best possible futures with the help and support of older mentors.
By merging and by taking a place-based approach – shaped by local knowledge, energy and understanding – more people will be supported.
