Lunch Club Volunteer (Mostyn)

We’re seeking a committed volunteer to support our weekly lunch club at Mostyn Community Centre. If you’re enthusiastic about community work and eager to make a positive impact, this could be an ideal opportunity for you!

We’re looking for a dedicated volunteer to help run our weekly lunch club at Mostyn Community Centre. If you’re passionate about your community and want to make a difference, this could be the perfect role for you!

Details:

Day: Wednesdays
Time: 12:45pm – 2:00pm
Location: Mostyn Community Centre

As a volunteer, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and supporting the Mostyn Lunch Club. Although you’ll work independently, a staff member will always be available to provide support when needed.

  • Assist with serving food provided by a caterer.
  • Washing up at the end of lunch
  • Staying in contact with Volunteering Matters

  • A good understanding of GDPR

As a volunteer, you will receive:

  • Full training before you start.
  • Expenses at 45p per mile (car) or the price of a bus/train ticket

This role description is intended to include the broad range of responsibilities and requirements of the volunteering post.

As our projects continually change, there will be regular opportunities for you to vary the nature of your volunteering to add to your volunteering experience.

Volunteers are the cornerstone of our work with vulnerable people in local communities and we are grateful that you are offering your time to help us make a difference.

Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, our project supports older people (50+) in Flintshire, Wales who are experiencing social isolation and loneliness. Through the engagement of dedicated volunteers, we provide companionship, build confidence, and encourage greater connection with the local community.
