This is just the beginning: launching our new strategy

Today we launch our new five-year strategy, a bold and collaborative vision shaped by staff, volunteers, partners and communities. It sets out the changes we want to see across loneliness, wellbeing, inclusion, community power and social connection. Rooted in social justice and powered by volunteers, this strategy will guide how we work, grow and lead change together. This is just the beginning.

PROJECT

Community Connectors (Ipswich)

Community Connectors works to better understand how people in Ipswich engage with physical activity. By listening to lived experiences in Belstead Hills, Gainsborough, and Whitton, we aim to shape more inclusive, accessible ways for communities to get active.

Action Earth secures major three-year funding boost for environmental volunteering across Scotland

Volunteering Matters is celebrating a significant win for Scotland as its Action Earth programme has secured £226,236 from The National Lottery Community Fund and an additional £30,000 from NatureScot to support the initiative over the next three years.
