For over twenty years, Volunteering Matters has been an integral part of the Suffolk community, helping to address a range of local issues (including Ipswich, Lowestoft).
Through dedicated support programs, we aim to provide refugees and asylum seekers with the opportunities and resources they need to integrate, thrive, and make meaningful contributions through volunteering.
We are dedicated to championing the needs and potential of care-experienced young people. Our goal is to provide these individuals with the necessary support and resources to successfully transition from care into independent adulthood. By focusing on mentorship and fostering community connections, we aim to empower care-experienced youth to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.
After a vibrant and lively Power of Youth Day event, Amanda Naylor OBE, Chief Executive of Volunteering Matters discussed the importance of supporting youth social action.
