Too often society fails to listen to young people’s views, or recognise their ability to make a positive difference. It’s time for that to change. Whatever your age or experience.
Young people aren’t just the leaders of tomorrow. They have the energy, skills and ideas to change society and the environment for the better today. Yet society often fails to listen to our views or recognise our ability to make a positive difference.
When the Movement launched in late 2013, with 50 partners and 50 young people, we never imagined the #iwill Movement would bring together the depth, diversity and scale of partnerships. From primary schools to FTSE companies and Government departments, the #iwill Movement has gone from strength to strength.
How do young people shape a place?
Across the UK young people are leading social action to make a positive change in their community.
For a city, a town, a city, a place to really thrive, it needs to understand the things that matter to local people. And it needs to equip and enable young people to shape and lead that local change.
Meet just some of the young people that are driving youth social action.
