Volunteer Driver (Rawcliffe and Snaith)

Help older and vulnerable people get to their healthcare appointments and make a difference to their lives.

Consider joining RSVP’s East Yorkshire based driving scheme in Snaith working with The Marshes Surgery. Together we can assist with helping older people maintain their health, independence and reduce isolation.

  • Ensure that your vehicle has a valid MOT (if necessary) and up-to-date comprehensive insurance
  • Ensure that the vehicle is maintained / serviced regularly
  • Ensure that the vehicle is covered by an MOT certificate if relevant
  • Agree to a criminal record check.

  • A clean driving licence for volunteer driving is preferred, but a small number of points are allowable
  • An interest in helping reduce rural isolation in your community.

As a volunteer, you will receive:

  • Public liability insurance.
