For volunteers aged 50+ in Lewisham or surrounding boroughs
Many young people in our communities are out of education, employment, or training (NEET). For these young care leavers, a guiding hand can mean the difference between uncertainty and a brighter future.
By volunteering with Grandmentors, you’ll help young people in Lewisham take confident steps toward independence. As a mentor, you’ll meet with a young person weekly, offering encouragement, sharing skills, and supporting them as they work toward their unique goals—whether it’s finding a job, continuing their education, or starting a training program.
Our mentors are more than volunteers—they’re role models, listeners, and a source of inspiration. And you won’t be alone: we provide full training, ongoing support, and resources to help you make the biggest impact.
Change a life while enriching your own. Volunteer with Grandmentors today and help young people unlock their potential.
