Making an impact

Making an impact

The difference our volunteers, colleagues and partners make is the driving force for what we do. Here you can find out more about the impact of Volunteering Matters in communities across the UK.

We’re clear on how we support individuals and communities, so that they can be the best they can be, they know the impact they have and are empowered to make change.

Our projects are all tailored to the communities they are in, creating sustainable social change through volunteering

We measure the impact of our projects and tell the stories of the people involved who are making change possible.

We measure our impact across the following four themes:

  1. Tackling social isolation and loneliness
  2. Improving health
  3. Developing skills and opportunity
  4. Making sure young people can lead change
