If you’re enthusiastic about community change and want to support Volunteering Matters, this role is for you.
As a Community Ambassador, you’ll join a growing network of individuals who are proud to represent and support the mission of Volunteering Matters. You’ll be a key connection between our charity and the communities we serve – sharing knowledge, raising awareness and promoting the work of our volunteers. Whether it’s organising a fundraiser, hosting an awareness event or simply sharing our message in your community, your role will be vital in helping others understand the power of volunteering.
You’ll have the opportunity to bring your regional insight, personal passion and local connections to the role. This might mean identifying new charity or fundraising partnerships, sharing local stories that matter, or introducing Volunteering Matters to networks and potential supporters. You’ll also help grow our reach through social media, events and local engagement, ensuring the voices of our volunteers are heard far and wide.
We’re looking for people who are friendly, community-minded, and confident communicators. You don’t need formal experience – just a willingness to get involved and a belief in the value of volunteering. In return, we’ll support you with resources, guidance and opportunities to connect with others making a difference.
- Organise local fundraising activities and awareness events
- Use your networks to promote volunteering and our programmes

This is a flexible and meaningful way to contribute to your community. If you live in England, Scotland or Wales and are ready to inspire others and support positive change, we’d love to hear from you.
