Looking for a welcoming space to knit, chat, and connect? Our Knit and Natter Group is the perfect place to enjoy crafting while making new friends. Whether you’re a seasoned knitter or just starting out, all skill levels are welcome!

  • Social connection: Meet like-minded people in a relaxed and friendly environment.
  • Give back to the community: Our groups often create knitted items for premature babies, twiddle-muffs for people with dementia, and much more. These handcrafted goods are donated locally and internationally.
  • Stay active and engaged: Volunteering and social activities like knitting have been shown to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
  • Affordable and accessible: Many groups provide low-cost or free wool, and some even offer transport for those who may need assistance.
  • Drop in on a Wednesday morning – no need to book!
  • Bring your knitting or use the materials provided.
  • Enjoy a friendly chat, share tips, and be part of a wonderful community.

With thousands of knitters across the UK, our groups collectively produce over 50 bin bags full of knitted goods each month—making a real impact on people’s lives.
