At Volunteering Matters, we believe that communities have the power, knowledge and energy to improve themselves from within and that we are most effective when we work with people, not on their behalf.

This year we are focused on the big and small actions we all take to support Volunteering Matters. We recognise the impact our actions have on where we live and the people we care about and will support everyone who shares our vision for social change. Our Action is to provide opportunities to build our networks, share and shout about our work, and create opportunities to fundraise and support others to do the same.
