Volunteering Matters transforms people’s lives through the power of volunteering. We build projects and programmes that respond to some of the most difficult challenges facing individuals and their communities today. From supporting care leavers to helping the most socially isolated get out and about – our volunteers really do change lives.

This year, Volunteering Matters is running a campaign for #GivingTuesday, which is December 3, fundraising for our youth volunteering.
Giving Tuesday is a day when people and organisations from all over the world come together to support the causes and communities that mean so much to us all.

We are asking you to help us reach our goal on Tuesday 3 December and really make a difference for our young volunteers by giving something up – whether it is a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, a trip to the cinema, whatever you want – and donating the money that you save to Volunteering Matters

Since #GivingTuesday is all about the power of collaboration, we would love it if you could get your colleagues, your friends or your family involved too!

Don’t forget to share your support on social media tagging us @volunteer_scot, @GivingTuesdayUK and using the hashtag #GivingTuesday.

Fundraise for us

Why not challenge yourself running a 10k, climbing a mountain, or cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats, while getting your family and friends to sponsor you on behalf of Volunteering Matters?

Leave a gift in your will

Your will is one of the most important documents which you will ever write. Once you have ensured that your family and loved ones are provided for, we hope you will consider leaving a gift to Volunteering Matters.

Give in memory

Donating in memory of a loved one is a personal and special way to celebrate and remember them. Some people choose to collect donations for their chosen charity instead of flowers, to create a lasting impact to a cause that is important to them or their loved one.
