summer volunteering project Heritage Camps

Heritage Camps is a summer volunteering programme for young people aged between 16 and 30 years old. Taking place over the summer holidays, the aim is to encourage young people to volunteer within a community whilst learning new skills that will help them in later life, whether that be further education or employment.

Camps will be situated at 8 locations around the UK for a week, dates and venues below, supporting the Heritage sites with general restoring, maintenance, cleaning and other tasks. Campers will volunteer as part of a team and may also have individual tasks.  Heritage camps is also an approved activity that counts as the residential requirement for the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.

Currently this opportunity is closed until Summer 2017, but if you are interested in volunteering next year, please fill in the form BY CLICKING HERE.
