Give More Get More featured on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire

To mark the launch of Give More Get More in Coventry, our Volunteer Manager Clare Rennison appeared on the BBC Radio Coventry and Warwickshire Breakfast Show with Trish Adudu.

Give More Get More is an exciting new inter-generational project which aims to support young disabled people to plan their next steps after education and inspire them to set goals, whether that be further education, employment, volunteering or another avenue such as developing confidence to use public transport or improving social skills.

Clare was joined by a volunteer from our mentoring project Grandmentors, which pairs volunteer mentors with young care leavers to empower them to achieve their full potential.

Grandmentor, Judith Philip, gave listeners an insight into her experience of mentoring and spoke about the benefit of volunteering to both the mentor and the mentee.
