ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The assisted gardening scheme gives volunteers the opportunity to manage and transform gardens that have become overgrown and neglected into fresh, colourful, blooming gardens. This is a fantastic way to support and befriend local residents who are no longer able to manage their own gardens.
The volunteer will be part of a small team and together they will help to mow lawns, cut hedges, clear brambles and revitalise gardens in the local community. We will provide training, personal protective equipment and out of pocket expenses.
- Interest or experience of gardening/outdoor work.
- Minimum commitment 1 day per week
