Full-Time Volunteering, Sex Matters Too and Volunteers Supporting Families have all been shortlisted for Children and Young People Now awards. The winners will be announced at an award ceremony in central London on 24th November.

Full-Time Volunteering has been shortlisted for the youth volunteering and social action award, Sex Matters Too has been shortlisted for the health and wellbeing award, and Volunteers Supporting Families has been shortlisted for the family support award.

Oonagh Aitken, Chief Executive of Volunteering Matters, said: “It’s a real joy to return to work after the bank holiday and discover that we have been shortlisted for three different categories for the prestigious Children and Young People Now awards.

These projects make a tangible, positive difference to the communities they support, so I’m delighted to see the hard work of our project staff and volunteers recognised in this way.”
