Are you….

  • Aged between 18 and 30?
  • Wondering what to do next after COVID-19?
  • Wanting to help others and make a real, tangible difference to their lives?
  • Currently based in the UK?
  • Willing to volunteer for up to 35 hours per week?

We need you! You could be supporting someone with a disability to live a full and independant life, or you could be helping school or university students to get the best out of their education. You could be helping young people to organise campaigns that are important to them, or you could be supporting those who are homeless to get access to important services.

Volunteering Matters have been running Full-Time Volunteering opportunities for young people for over fifty years, so we know what makes a great placement. All volunteer placements are:

  • Fully risk assessed
  • Supported by a supervisor on placement
  • Managed by a Volunteer Manager
  • Tried and tested

You’ll receive:

  • Training in safeguarding and communication
  • Ongoing support
  • Subsistence payments
  • Thanks and appreciation for your efforts

And, if you want to, we’d love you to be involved in:

  • Making videos or taking photos for your project
  • Sharing updates with our Communications Team
  • Writing blogs
  • Sharing your volunteer experiences online

This call is for UK-based volunteers. We do usually offer opportunities for those outside the UK, but please check our guidance about  volunteering from abroad during COVID-19 by visiting this page.
