We are a national charity leading UK volunteering in policy and practice. We have decades of experience in delivering high-impact volunteering programmes that address key issues, such as social isolation and inequality, and help to build stronger and more inclusive communities.

Our volunteer programmes improve the lives of young people, disabled people, families and older people. We also create and deliver tailored, high-impact employee volunteering programmes for organisations across the UK.

In this section you can see where our work and people have been in the news, find out more of what is going on across the volunteering sector and hear the voices and stories of our volunteers, beneficiaries and staff.
